This Google Earth presentation outlines one of WOT Group’s possible routes linking Carterton, Witney and Eynsham with the Cotswold main line into Oxford. Respective travel times would be 22, 16 and 9 minutes to Oxford.
We would like to clarify that the rail link’s exact route will be decided based on appropriate engineering studies and consultation. The above map is purely diagrammatic and solely to identify main localities a rail link could serve. Please do not approach WOT for requests on whether the route may impact a specific field or similar for the reasons just stated.
